I explain Azure infrastructure the way ITPros actually run it, on stage, on camera and in my weekly newsletters. In English or en français.
Hello Folks!
I'm a Principal Cloud Advocate at Microsoft, based in Ottawa. My job is to close the gap between the architecture diagram and what actually happens on a Tuesday afternoon in production.
For more than 25 years I've worked with the people who keep infrastructure running: networking, identity, hybrid, Kubernetes and the operational detail that rarely makes it into the keynote. I write about it every week in AZ Update and Wired For Hybrid, I host conversations about it on ITOpsTalk, and I take it on stage for audiences who'd rather see a working demo than another slide of logos.
No fluff. Just the parts that matter when you're the one holding the pager.
Where you'll find me
On stage at Microsoft Ignite every year since 2015, and at community conferences across Europe and North America. My full session catalogue and event history live on Sessionize and run.events.
